Sterile Technique Phlebotomy program will prepare graduates to work as an entry-level Phlebotomy Technician in a clinic, hospital, nursing home or long-term care facility. Graduates will be able to assist in basic laboratory procedures, collecting blood and other clinical tasks.

Phlebotomy Course

Phlebotomy Means to "Cut a Vein" in Greek.

All of our phlebotomy training classes are comprehensive and emphasize a “hands-on” method – each student will draw blood several times in each class. These draws will be performed with the supervision of other class members. Our instructors will guide you as you learn a variety of phlebotomy techniques. In addition, you will learn the “tricks of the trade” that will help with special patients and difficult draws.

Our 6 or 8-week program provides the student with skills and training in order to succeed as a phlebotomist. This course contains lecture-discussion and practical instruction. Once the course has completed a Certificate of Completion will be provided as certified Phlebotomy Technician.

Prerequisites: High school diploma/transcripts or GED, 18 years of age or older. ​ANY government-issued photo ID

Phlebotomy Workshop

(Refresher Course)


Sterile Technique strives to provide the highest level of training.

This course is for the person who is not sure if Phlebotomy is the right field for them or one who is interested in the medical field but not sure where to begin. The Phlebotomy Workshop is also for the returning phlebotomy student. This course emphasizes a“hands-on” method.

This course is a 4-hour course that contains online-lecture and laboratory instruction and provides the student with skills and training to succeed as a phlebotomist. After completing the workshop, students will be issued a Phlebotomy Workshop certificate. The course can be used for continuing education hours for your Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certification.

We welcome students of all ages, educational and professional backgrounds. However, we do require all students to be 18 or older to attend class.

What If The Class I Am Interested In is Full?

Our waitlist policy is first come first serve. We require everyone that would like to be waitlisted to be enrolled in a future class. If a spot becomes available, we will be in touch via phone or email and manually apply your deposit or tuition payment to the class you are waitlisted for.
